Story:
Bog, a domestic 900lb. Grizzly Bear, 3 days before the open season, finds himself in a jungle. Forced to rely on Elliot, a fast-talking mule deer, the two make an unlikely friendship and must soon gather the other jungle animals if they form a rig-tag army against the hunters.
After meeting a happily polished grizzly sheep, Eliot (Ashton Kutcher), named Boog (Martin Lawrence), his whole world is turned upside down, with a beautiful wild mule deer, speaking louder. They both hang together in the forests during hunting season, and both are responsible for gathering all the other animals in the forest and swapping tables.
The story is good, from the point of view of hunting activity from the point of view of the game. It is also developed with additional complications. But that does not seem to be all together. The comic stuff doesn’t really get ridiculous. Martin Lawrence and Ashton Kutcher’s efforts for the mad voices did little to help the film become a comedy. One strange thing I noticed was that only Eliot, a mule deer, is the beast that stands on its footsteps beside the Bog de Grosley Beer. It is quite common to see sheep and small critters such as rabbits, galleries and skunks standing on their back legs because in fact the sheep do. But in Eliot’s case, he is the only other animal that does so, while the second mule deer, which includes his love interest Giselle, stands on all four feet.
