Story:

In Paris in 1931, an orphan living on the train station walls is immersed in a mystery that includes his stepfather and an automaker. Hugo is an orphan boy living in the train station walls in Paris in the 1930s. He learned to fix the clock and other equipment from his father and aunt, which he uses to operate train station clocks.

He is the only thing that connects him to his dead father – an automaton (mechanical man) who does not work without a special key. Hugo needs to find the key to uncovering the secret that he believes is contained. On his adventure, he meets George Miles, a shopkeeper who works at the train station, and his adventure-seeking goddess.

Hugo finds that they have an amazing relationship with their father and with the automatons, and he discovers that it unlocks some of the memories that older people have buried inside regarding their past.
