Story:

American car designer Carroll Shelby and driver Ken Miles are battling corporate intervention, the laws of physics and their own devils to create a revolutionary race car for Ford and challenge Ferrari in 1966 at 24hrs of Le Mans.

Carol Shelby (Matt Damon) is a professional racer who was forced to retire early due to a heart condition, and goes into car sales. Hot and favorite, he is a natural salesman and a people person. He is also an incredible vehicle designer and engineer. Meanwhile, Ken Miles (Christian Bailey) is a racer who is currently working as a mechanic and runs his own shop to help his wife Molly (Katrina Balfe) and son Peter (Noah Jap). He does just that and sometimes the customer gets angry, but he lacks anything. In one of the races, Ken is told that his car is not following the rules and starts to rage angrily at the race officer – Carroll spots him and comforts him, but later both have one. Tension builds and Ken throws a wrench at him. Later, the IRS arrives and closes Ken’s garage, and he is forced to give up most of his racing to take care of his family.
